100 Heads Challenge Day Seven

100 Heads Challenge Day Six
I was feeling lazy... or just tired of realism. So I referenced 10 heads from one of my favorite graphic Novels, "The Man Who Laughs." Compared to drawing 10 realistic heads, this was a breeze. I mimicked the art style of Mark Strafford; who illustrated the graphic novel. So I wasn't too worried about being precise nor about only using a green pen. I think they turned out nicely.

100 Heads Challenge Day Four
There isn't a particular theme with this one. Just some faces I wanted to draw that mean something to me one way or another. This time, I chose to draw the first eight on post-it notes and then draw the last two together in the center. Also, I started with pencil, then outlined with a fine-tip black marker. I'm not sure why I chose to provide their names. As usual, there are some errors and signs of fatigue. Like Mickey looking too excited rather than relaxed for example. But I'm very happy with how this turned out overall.

100 Heads Challenge Day Three
The Outsiders edition!! I spent two hours drawing the Greasers and the three main Soc's from one of my favorite books and films. Though I may have missed the mark in spots, I feel very proud of how they turned out.

100 Heads Challenge Day One
While doing my usual browsing of Youtube videos, I came across a video of someone doing a challenge where you have to draw 100 heads in 10 days. I felt inspired to attempt this while viewing and listening to her commentary. She used references on Pinterest, but I chose not to. I have lots of pictures on my computer, so I figured there would be plenty to reference. She also used different media such as marker, graphite, highlighter, ink pen, and even digital and they were all placed in her sketchbook. I started off day one with just graphite because I didn't want to go too strong and intimidate myself. All men and all in a band. I hope they're recognizable enough.

Revisiting Childhood
While doodling, a single phrase entered my mind. "ET phone my agent!" I can't quite remember the source nor how old I was at the time. However, I remember that I drew a picture on the old paint program of ET angrily yelling on the phone while it said that very phrase above his head. I also remember I was in Elementary school.
Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of that old picture. So I chose to redraw it. Not only showcasing how far I've come, but that I also remember something that made my parents laugh. Unlike last time, I chose grayscale instead of full color. As well as a Smartphone just in his hand instead of a red landline up against his head. I also added the flannel he was wearing in the film when he drank beers and got hungover.

Roger Waters Fanart
I was feeling inspired by all the fanart I was seeing on Twitter. I wanted to see if I could do it again. I'm pleased with the results.

Another Day.. Another Nap
It's one of those days. My back hurts like crazy, I'm too tired, fried chicken is on the menu and I have a small army of essentials to take the edge off the pain... until I eventually fall asleep.
HIM Took Townsville
While watching a doll customizer named HeXtian, I felt inspired to draw a messed-up fan-art of The Powerpuff Girls losing the day to HIM.

David Gilmour Fanart
My confidence was dwindling while drawing this, but I pushed through after a long rest. I recognize him, I think I captured his likeness well enough, I used a lyric from "Yes I Have Ghosts," and I'm happy with it. I think it's a beautiful piece.

Level up!
I was blessed with a great art moment tonight. I was granted the last piece of a long, unfinished puzzle. I now have the confidence in myself to do Pink Floyd fan art and a new art style that grants me that ability. I'm in love with this.

Welcome, My Son
In celebration for finally crafting my Pink ragdoll, I drew him walking with Otis. I consider Pink my baby and I'm overjoyed to finally have him.

OMG I DID IT!!!! I'M SO HAPPYYYY!!!!!
I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IIIIIT!!!! MY PINK RAGDOLL HAS FINALLY BEEN FINISHED AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!
I used my Skeleton Soldier's wall to take a couple cool photos. I also put him in my arms to show scale... and that I finally have my baby.💖 The last photo also features three pillows I crafted recently from my Rose City Comic Con shirts and a small blanket I made out of an AC/DC shirt I out-grew years ago. I thought it would be cute to have Pink sleeping. I feel so happy and proud.
Doodling Births Artwork
I was trying to doodle in a particular direction and wound up in space. Doing this while watching Star Trek Next Gen. seems to be the more potent reason.

Jean-Luc Poisson
I was watching Star Trek Next Gen. and wanted just doodled. At first I drew Jean-Luc Picard, but I erased that and went with a more fish-like design. I noticed this one still somewhat resembled the captain (if he were a fish creature.) So I present, Captain Jean-Luc Poisson.
Attempt at a Ferengi
Star Trek The Next Generation has been a frequent presence lately. While having a "good art" moment, I was able to attempt digi-drawing a Ferengi portrait.
Dis Is Ahnuld
I made a football-headed squishy and named him Ahnuld. It's Arnold pronounced how Arnold Schwarzenegger would say it. ha ha ha
