Pink Floyd Representation and Self-Growth

Hey everyone, I hope you all are staying healthy and sane. Last week, I watched more "Drawfee" and felt inspired to do a self-portrait representing my fandom for Pink Floyd. Lately, "Pink Floyd the Wall" has been a constant theme in my dreams and in reality. This was originally going to be a line drawing, but I felt it looked way cooler without. I also feel that the style kinda matches the overall theme of the subject; as well as my occasional struggles with my mental health. All in all it was.... a very rewarding experience. I feel very proud of how far I have come as a person and of how this turned out. Thank you.

Silhouettes and Madness Strikes Back

I chose "strikes back" for the title, because this time was more frustrating and difficult for us. I only have one to show today. It's an upside-down Patrick Star from "Spongebob Squarepants" that I transformed into a muscular sea creature I have named "Mojo." You can practically see my struggle in this.

Silhouettes and Madness

My  bro and I watched something on Youtube called "Drawfee." I don't know if any of y'all have seen it, but it's a fun watch. These four digital artists basically started with a silhouette/outline of a known cartoon character and turned it into something completely different while staying in the lines. Inspired, bro and I tried it out that night. It was difficult to try turning a silhouette into an outline; especially with a program we struggled to use. But we had fun creating. Here's what we did so far.

1. Billy the Murderchild (Mine)

(Tom Nook from "Animal Crossing")

2. Forg (Bro)

(Tom Nook from "Animal Crossing;" upside-down)

3. Yuni (Mine)

(Toad from the "Mario" games; upside-down)

More to come. :D

Hello all. It's been a minute since my last post, so here's a new one. I couldn't sleep all night because I went to bed way too early. At around 4am while listening to The Dresden Files: Blood Rites, I drew something I've been meaning to draw for a while. I love Scooby Doo and Johnny Bravo cartoons. I especially love the episode Bravo Dooby Doo where Johnny works with Scooby and the gang in a personal mystery. Another thing I love is a comic series called Elfquest. So to make a long story short, the three elements met. I started with a pencil sketch, then outlined with black sharpie, then used colored pencils to finish. Completely hand-drawn and I'm in love with the results.  I hope you appreciate this as well.

(I also tuned-up the values in the pic so it can stand out better instead of looking like garbage.)
