Hello everyone. I hope you had a great holiday. I was messing around on Paint.net last night and a doodle with potential arrived from my pen. So I spent a little time on it today and made a t-shirt design. I googled blank shirt templates and used that. After finishing the design on Paint.net, I reopened it on another program called Krita and basically used the blending tool and other brush types. Here it is.

Hello helloo hellooo. How are you today? I have yet another post today. I worked from around 11:00pm to around 2-3:00am on this card for a friend. Honestly, I don't really know what possessed me to make this. These weird, Looney Toon Knock-off characters the morning after a hard Christmas party. I didn't do any shading. I wanted to keep it completely cartoony. Anyway, I hope you find it amusing.

Hello.. hello.. hello... is there anybody in there? I have a new post for you. I've been working on this since last night. It could use some improvement and I may have rushed it a touch, but it's funny to me. I drew two activists guarding a grassy field. At first I was having them defend a robot, but I thought this would be funnier; and I could finish faster.
P.S.: I also didn't notice the males messed-up arms until after posting.... oh well. Onto greener pastures!

Hey all, I'm back again with another post. Back in 2015, I did a very simple, black and white portrait of Nicholas Hoult. Actor known for "Warm Bodies," various X-Men films as Beast, that film about J.R.R. Tolkein, etc. After yet another round of doodling and experimenting, I decided to re-do the old piece. It's still somewhat simple because I am only a novice at digital art, but I find that this is a vast improvement to the original. Plus, I would definitely hang this on my wall as a cool poster or something.
I basically did a simple black outline and colored in the big parts. The big, dark part on the left side of his head wasn't supposed to be all black, but I allowed it anyway. For the background, I stacked circles on top of each other from large to small using the colors of the rainbow. Violet being largest and red being smallest and centered. Then I just messed around with background effects until it came out like this. I also colored his irises separately so they can stand out. What do you think?
Just for the hell of it, I'm including a doodle called "Rabborg"(Rabbit Cyborg). The quality is messy, the effort is lower, and it's a doodle experiment. However, I found it worth keeping and worthy of being shown. I doodled the character, colored it, and experimented with a blurring effect for the background so that it looks blended. Also, I didn't try to make my signature symbols look nice, because this was messing around rather than actual artwork (in my opinion).

Hello again. I'm back with yet another art post. I swear I'm going mad with this digital art thing; in a very good way. I'm noticing the gradual improvement in my quality and the increase in drawing. Best part is that my hand doesn't hurt afterwards. Anyway, I was inspired today during another doodle session. In fact, this was originally a doodle that came to life. I call him "Owlpotter." I hope you like him.

Hello again, I'm back with another blog post. The digital drawing pad has been a really fun and frustrating experience so far. Today, I drew a special picture for my brother as a thanks and to add some cheer. A couple hours of fooling around and drawing resulted in a cartoon of Ringo Starr with a Tye Dye background and the words "Peace & Love." I am very proud of this and I know he will love it. What do you think?

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well. I received a new toy today; a digital drawing pad from my brother. I was excited to give it a try. My expectations of myself were too high in the beginning, but I got over that. It was basically relearning how to draw. After several hours of messing around, I managed to make this. My first real drawing with a digital drawing pad instead of a mouse. I clearly have a long way to go, but I'm happy. Thanks, bro! :)

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving this year; despite the need for social distancing. Now we can see how Christmas shall pan out. I've been working on individually drawing Christmas cards for various friends and family since early November. I've done 15 going on 16 hand-drawn cards and seven digital cards mostly consisting of word bubbles on a picture since drawing this often is quite taxing. I won't be showing all the cards, just the select few that I find worthy of showing. I also won't be showing the chosen cards until they are received; no spoilers.
Luckily, I have a friend who decided to gift us with Truffles as an early Christmas present, so I sent him his card early. It's pretty much the only digital card I've put in any real effort. During my binge-viewing of the Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, I found out he and I both enjoy the show and I wanted to represent that in his card. He found it adorable and I was so happy. I hope you like it too. Tell me what you think in the comments. As for other upcoming projects, I have no plans and I'm tired, so I'll let you know if something comes up.
I did everything on the paint.net program. I made sure to use the correct colors for each character. Aang(top), Katara(left), Sokka(right), Zuko(bottom left), and Toph(bottom right) in that order. You can see the evolution of effort as I progressed. I made them ornaments because Christmas and they're all laughing because it's supposed to be a year of merriment. The elemental symbols were NOT drawn by me. I looked them up on google, colored them white, and placed them. The boomerang symbol I did do on my own; as you can see from the difference in quality. I would have cleaned it up a bit, but the boomerang represents Sokkas character and the show establishes his lack of artistic talent. Lastly, I chose this lovely shade of blue because it's a very pleasant and soft color that fits the holiday theme. Plus the assault of red and green would not have meshed well.

Not long after completing my Pink Floyd the Wall poster, I was struck by more inspiration; thanks to my brother once again. He showed me a picture of a brown teddy bear with a fake, human skull for a head and it was sitting on a stuffed tiger. He jokingly said it was his demon. So I asked for his demons name and he replied "Hugh." After a while, I asked permission to draw Hugh. Here are my two takes on a demon named, Hugh.
I started with an adorable version of Hugh. I messed up the coloring of the tiger, but it's still cute. I find it funny to have chosen to give Hugh hellfire eyes rather than just red.

The contest passed, but I didn't receive results yet. I suspect they won't announce the winner until Monday. So for now, I am going to show you the last touch I applied before hanging it on my door.
Is there anybody out there? It didn't come out runny like I hoped and it was a bit messy. However, it looks like a bloody handprint, so I'm happy. What do you think?
See you Monday and Happy Halloween. :D

Entry #4: I'm on the home stretch. I added a couple more things to the wall. Unfortunately, I made the wrong choice with which glue to use. The paper got wet and it will more than likely be warped when dry. That's a bit of a bummer, but I'm not upset. We learn from our mistakes, right?
Originally, I was going to remove a brick and place this handsome face, but I received some valuable feedback. It would look funny. So I referenced my Pink Floyd the Wall book and colored the brick as best I could as this appeared in "Empty Spaces."I wasn't planning to do this, but it needed this addition. I free-handed this with pencil then black sharpie. Not bad, eh?
Lyrics from "Empty Spaces" for the faces.
Lyrics from "Run Like Hell" for the hammers.

Things are really coming along. I didn't expect to have Entry # 3 posted so soon; I expected tomorrow. I'm feeling prouder and prouder with every passing moment I'm dedicating to this project. What do you think so far?
The sea of faces spilling out of the wall. The cheating wife. She didn't turn out exactly to my liking, and yet she turned out better than I thought.
I've struggled for years to draw the Marching Hammers and I still do today. So I found the logo and printed it out instead. I know it's a bit of a cheap move, but I don't regret my decision.
Entry #2: I got a little busy late last night. Nothing has been glued, because I'm still mapping things out since I didn't get into this with a full plan. I'm feeling pretty pleased so far. I still have a long way to go and little time to achieve finish, but I'll keep y'all posted. :)
The Wall weighed down drawn and outlined. An attempt of the screaming face in colored pencil. I'm honestly pretty proud of this.

Hello everyone! It's been a long time. Todays post will be one of multiple entries, because it's a big project. I entered a contest to decorate my door for Halloween. I spent a few days struggling with what to do and came out with nothing. Until a suggestion last night finally lit the ember in the fire pit of my inspiration. See if you can guess my chosen theme.
"Shall we set out across the sea of faces?"

Stay safe. Be smart. Wear your mask. More coloring pages will arrive soon.
P.S.: In case you haven't noticed, I have changed my bottom signature symbol. I loved the old one, but I had been using it for so long. So when a new symbol appeared while pouring Canola Oil in a pan, I knew it was time for a new symbol. What do you think?

I also have a question. Does anyone want me to change the cover of this blog? I've been kinda tossing the possibility around, but I haven't really landed on anything. If you would like me to change the cover, I would also like to hear any suggestions you may have for the next one. I'm curious of the possibilities. Thank you. 😊

Anyhoo, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during the Pandemic. Remember to stay indoors, wash your hands, and be smart about this.
Here's what I have done. I've been participating in the Taskmaster #Hometasking thing on twitter. One of the tasks involved doing something extraordinary with a pair of trousers. I didn't make the cut, but this is my hand-made plush. Hand-sewn and hot glued (I lost patience after six hours of sewing and failing >_<). It's supposed to be a little nod to Greg Davies' real Blue Ted plush. That's why it looks like a weird frog mutation. But I'm proud of it regardless.
The second sewing project I recently finished earlier today is a sort of frankenmask. I hand-stitched my own mask for when I need to go grocery shopping or do the laundry. It's made with the leftover green pants I used for the frog thingy above, a tie dye shirt, a pipe cleaner, some stretchy material from an old pair of long-johns, and magenta thread for extra color. It's by no means high quality, but I'm happy with the results and I'm happy I can wear something more colorful than those blue surgical masks any John or Jane Doe would wear when sick or avoiding sickness. Notice I had to do replace the reflection of my round sunglasses with one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums of all time because they help me pass the darkness on bad days and I didn't want what was in the reflection to be seen.
Be safe! Be healthy! Be Happy! Be creative! <3

I had only planned on doing the octopus, but decided during the process to add jellyfish in the background. They didn't get as many layers because Jellyfish are a bit transparent. I'm especially proud of the Octopus. It took a lot of layering and shading to achieve the detail. I feel very proud.

My Step-Mom's Christmas Present.
My fifth experimental painting. This wasn't originally going to be a gift. After several failed attempts, I decided to just wing it without a proper background. But the bear turned out cuter than anticipated. Then I decided to add purple flowers and gold and purple stars. I wasn't disappointed at all and I felt this matched her personality.
Reception was very positive.
My 7th experimental painting and a potential gift for a friend.
I tried to paint a type of red Lily on another starry night background. I don't hate it, but I recognize that it isn't my best work. However, I am still proud. I had not been painting for many many weeks out of stress and exhaustion. So I'm happy it turned out this nice.
Please tell me that you think of my latest works in painting. Any feedback would be appreciated. :D
If you recall, I spent some time at my Gramma's during the last week of October. Since my return home, I have been practicing an old medium I usually tried to avoid; painting. My brother has been painting and therefore, I caught the bug. This was especially important since Christmas was getting closer. So here are the paintings I have done so far. However, most of these have already been given as gifts except two of them. I will only post one of the two previously unseen in order the maintain the element of surprise. The other unseen likely won't be seen by the receiving party. Anyway, I do hope you like them. I was quite surprised myself of how they turned out. leave a comment with some feedback if you'd like. Thank you.
My Brother's Christmas Present.
Also, my first experimental painting. Reception was highly positive. :D
My Mom's Christmas Present.
My second experimental painting, but it had previously gone wrong. Then I decided it needed a white cat. It's perfect for her Besties Bistro among the other cat paintings on the wall. Reception was highly positive.
My Gramma's Christmas Present
My third painting and I am in love. It started with the starry night background. Then I kept it bare for days until I decided it needed a blue rose. The stem I'm not too keen, but the rose turned out MILES better than expected. So much so, I had to show my hubby after saying, "Hey babe! I DID SOMETHING IMPRESSIVE!" And he agreed. XD
Reception was over the moon.
Continued in the next post <3 ^
