More than a week ago, I did a project I haven't done since High School. A paper mache' mask for Halloween. Specifically, I chose to create the Pink mask from Pink Floyd's the Wall. I am aware that the shade of pink isn't correct, nut I was in a fix. As in, the correct shade ran out and it needed more layers so I did my best. This was a first time in 10 years project and I'm very happy with the results.
Of course a Halloween mask must come with a costume. I would have gone full ragdoll, marching hammer, or even a mundane uniform, but my plans fell through during my search. So in the end I dressed as a physical representation of my fandom and love for Pink Floyd. What do you think?
(I would have posted earlier, but I was on a trip and stayed unplugged at the time; plus I was busy and tired as soon as I got home)

I recently purchased a new sketchpad. I named it Mithrandir; one of Gandalf's many names. (I'm in a bit of an LOTR phase.)
Anyway, I'm sketching at least once per day. Whether it's just doodles or actual effort.
On my way home last night, I drew Lady Voldemort. No reason, no plan, and no cares. It's not great, but it's passable for rusty skills. I hope you like it.

Earlier today, I embarked on one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. I attended the Claypool Lennon Delirium concert at the Oregon Zoo. Not just that, I also participated in a Q&A and Meet & Greet/ photo-op with Les Claypool and Sean Lennon themselves. The concert itself was a euphoric experience. I stood in the mosh-pit area getting beaten by the falling rain while losing myself completely to their musical performance and witty banter sprinkled throughout. It was wonderful altogether.
Plus I got some sweet stuff such as a lanyard, a signed poster, and a phone charger. I would have also sampled Les Claypool's wine at the Meet & Greet, but I didn't have the over 21 wristband; and I'm not much of a wine drinker. Anyway, here are some photos from the concert.

Hey all! I have a new project in the works. Who all likes to color? I know I do. I especially like to do so while listening to music or an audio book. Because of the last Meatmas contest and of my want to have more variety to color, I have decided to work on my own coloring book. Some of it will be directly from the blog (that I edit to make more color-able) and new artwork.
Here's a sample of one of my color pages. I just worked on this one today.
What do you think?
