Hello all! I made a get well card for a coworker. Totally Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time themed and completely digital. I hope you like it.

I entered another H3VR Meatmas Competition. Last year was handmade ornaments, this year I just had to color. I made four attempts on Paint.net. The categories are: The meatiest, My Three-Year-Old Did This, I Used my BFA for Something, and Subreddit's Choice. Winners will be announced on the fourth of January. Wish me luck, I hope I win a category this time.

This is my official, new blog cover. All digital. I featured Alex from A Clockwork Orange, Link from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, my favorite kitty cat Grins, and of course myself. Before you ask, yes, I did trace, but only to outline. I'm still new to this whole digital medium. In time, I won't have to; hopefully.
I featured Alex because he's been on almost every cover I've had, Link to represent a very much loved video game I used to play, my favorite cat because I love and miss him so much, and myself because I always add my face to my covers. What do you think?

Hello all, I have a question for you. What should be the subject of my next blog cover? I can't figure it out for the life of me. Do any of you have any suggestions?

This is an old self-portrait of my face that I re-did on Paint.net. I was going to wait until I used my drawing pad to add more detail. But the more I looked at it, the less I wanted to add. I'm already satisfied with the shading and the quality. I'm especially proud of the shading of the lips.

I am still dabbling in digital art. Not as much since my hours at work have increased. I feel lonely... doing this particular piece helped me feel better. It was a productive distraction.

Title: Loneliness

I decided to experiment on paint.net. I spent many hours just messing around with many pictures and just free-drawing. I stopped here at my portrait of Ponyboy. I think I have improved it quite a bit. What do you think?

I designed a logo for a friend's band called Akatosh. I started with a hand-drawn design and then did a digital design that turned out much better. They love the design and a poster/banner is in the works. I am happy to have designed this. I feel proud.

When I stepped out into the cold morning air from the warmth of my bed, I had only two things on my mind. The last day of Comic Con and my latest drawing. At 2:30am, I finished a pencil drawing of C. Thomas Howell as Ponyboy Curtis. It needs work, but I can see him. Can you?

Since I haven't used this one yet and one of my viewers asked me when I was going to change it, I decided to change the cover until I come up with a new one. I won't be giving myself a deadline like i did last time, because I will be balancing my work, my gig at Comic Con, and school starting September 24th. So whenever I have time to spare, I will be brainstorming and drawing some new covers.
In fact: if you'd like to help me along, maybe you can help me come up with some new ideas. I have a couple ideas, but nothing official. Any suggestions?

I attempted to design a logo for Robotics club last night. My hubby's a member and he approves of this design. I hope they do too. The images below are both black and white and then shaded.

I went to this CHNW painting event. Everyone else was trying to paint with Bob Ross while I let my inspiration take me.
I have to say, I am thrilled with the results. In fact, I won a prize for most creative panting and returned home with two more canvases, paint, and paint brushes. I can't wait to paint some more.

I did some sketches of three celebrity faces. Zhang Ziyi, David Gilmour, and Benedict Cumberbatch. I only used my fine-point pen and I also chose to use the other side of a used piece of paper; so you may see designs on their faces from the other side. I felt pretty proud of what I did; not so much the decision to put the smallest head on the bottom instead of the top. Tell what you think. Good likenesses?

More sketches today. Feeling pleased with myself. This time I experimented with facial expressions and angles.

I did some comic style sketches today.  My quality declined as I grew tired, but I'm happy for this.  What do you think?

Today, I drew a small portrait of  actor Charlie Heaton. He is known as Jonathan Byers from the awesome show, Stranger Things.
This is fully free-hand-drawn and I only used a Pro Art 2H (whatever that means) pencil.
It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it.
