This was the new project. Don't stop at this post, there's two more below. I covered my hand and part of my forearm in crisco (blech) then put it in Dermagel. It was a long process. After the mold was completed, it was filled to make the result below. I don't remember what the stuff was called, but I was so excited. I regretted the position for my hand though; it hurt.



After this long process, this was the end result so far. More work to come. I didn't get two fingertips, but it'll work to my advantage I think considering the sculpture that I'm after. Not bad for my first try.






One mask down, two to go. I painted this mask with black, brown, and burgundy shoe polish. The brush was coarse, so I jabbed at the mask with it to give it a really cool-looking texture. I'm quite proud of it.

Phase two. All three masks have been formed. Now they have to dry. More to come next week.
