I made another small costume for fun. I made my own cat ears, collar, and tail out of discarded shirts, cardboard, and hot glue. It was fun to make and I have fun wearing it. I feel super cute!! MEOW!!!

Saturday, November 5, 2016

I have been thinking about this image for over a day. I decided to finally bring it to life in the form on anime style art. Sorry it ended up on lined paper, but it's still cute.

I tallied up the votes. It loos the "Costume" had the most votes and is now the new cover. On another note, I completed my first costume using some sewing and hot glue. The materials were an old nightgown and shirts I could go without. I'm very proud of the result and I plan on improving it as time goes on. Happy Halloween.

I finally finished my three covers for the blog.  Vote for your favorite one and the winner will be the new official cover. To vote, comment  below the title of your favorite cover below.

#1: Bottom
This is an old drawing I stopped a long time ago and then continues months later. One of my favorite shows is Bottom and this is from the Halloween episode: Terror.
Eddie and Richie are in their costumes and I am wearing the devil mask Doreen Hedgehog wore in the show and was mistaken for Satan.

#2: Costume
This is basically a compilation of costumes I am either making or have been wanting to make over time. I am in the middle in regular attire, then there's my Julia Doll to the right and Marching Link to the right of her. To the left is Homeless Batman and Female Rick to the left of Batman.

#3: Breakfast
I wanted to revisit the classics. Since I did a similar pattern to my last two. In the first one, I put myself, Alex DeLarge, Daenarys Targaryan, and Johnny Eck. The second one, basically the same, but Daenerys was eliminated. I subtracted one more for this one, but I kept Alex and added three more. Count Orlock from Nosferatu, Cesare from the Cabinet of Dr.Caligari, and Igor from Young Frankenstein. All in a parody of The Breakfast Club cover.

Things are looking better. I finished my first cover and I'm currently working on the second one. I'm very excited about it.
The ideas have changed because I no longer felt them; I apologize for that. But I will deliver theses covers hopefully before Halloween and I will post them so that you all can vote for my next cover. Thank you all for your patience.

I recently started talking to this lovely lady named Emily. She sparked my inspiration to draw her as a Disney Princess. She loves Disney and the first Disney movie she saw at the cinema was Beauty and the Beast. So I modeled her after Belle and designed her a pretty sweet dress. She has already seen it and she loves it. I hope you do too.

Go Check out her youtube channel: Emily Boo. She's fun to watch and her personality sparkles :)

Hello all. I went from one idea to two out of three. Thanks to a loyal viewer.

#1: Classic Movie Monsters
I draw myself in one of my two costume choices or a mask and vampire fangs and surround myself with the classic monsters such as Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, etc.

#2: A Tim Burton style Nightmare Before Christmas theme
I draw myself in my main costume choice and I am with Jack and Sally. The style will be at least similar to Tim Burton's design.

I'm debating on the third idea. I want to do something involving my favorite band in the whole world; Pink Floyd. Like maybe drawing myself with them, or drawing myself among the world of The Wall, stuff like that. Or maybe other cool ideas can spring up. I'll try to get this done by Halloween or earlier.

I appreciate any input you all can provide and thank you.

Hello all!! I hope you've all been enjoying my blog posts on this spooky page. If you have been looking, then you will know of the drawing titled "Having tea With Me" at the top of the blog and provided with the link.
The fact is that particular drawing is out-of-date and must be updated to something new; and the Halloween season coming up makes for more fun opportunities. I am requesting all of you to suggest any fun ideas for a new picture. I would like to keep the pattern of drawing myself along with the company of a few others. (ex: Alex DeLarge and Johnny Eckhardt)
As an added bonus, I plan on drawing three that I will put up to a vote in the future. I hope to hear from you all and thank you.

Hello all, after spending four without internet on my computer, I am finally able to post my newest creation. I was watching Pink Floyd's "Arnold Layne" music video and I became inspired. After finishing this project, I fell so hard in love with it that I framed almost immediately. I hope you like it.

Due to the overwhelming packing and the moving, I will not be posting on my blog this Sunday. We won't have a router for a little while in the new place. I also believe that things will be too hectic for a project. So until further notice, no posting this coming Sunday and probably the next. I hope you understand. Life happens.

In order to make up for missing last week's deadline, I decided to give you two pieces of art instead of one. I's sorry about that, hopefully it won't happen again.

#1: A costume design I came up with the night before last. I really wanted to be Sally from "A Nightmare Before Christmas" but it was frustrating me because I wanted to have her exact dress. Instead of wasting my time, I chose a different take on the costume that I can get behind. Why make a duplicate when I can be creative? I drew it with pencil then went over with gel pens.

#2: I've been wanting draw something that came with the lyrics from"The Final Cut" song from the album of the same name. Early Friday morning, I was in the zone and I finally came up with this beautiful piece. I started with pencil, then I used markers from art class, then a silver gel pen.

I've been seeing this around lately. People drawing themselves in their own cartoon style then in other styles such as South Park, The Simpsons, Family Guy, etc. Not too happy about how this turned out, but it could have turned out worse and I'm glad I could pull it off.

Sunday, August 7, 2016

Decided to play with a cartoon style. I was inspire by one thing that turned into another. Featured in this piece is myself and my friend Spooky Max. Thinking of doing more of these pieces of myself and other friends. We'll see...

Sunday, July 31, 2016

I got inspired by my friend, Nick. I had to draw him and I was in the zone for a seemingly long time.
The best part is I still see him in this drawing and he likes it. So I'm happy and proud of how it turned out.

I haven't given up... I haven't forgotten.
Without reason to go to school
I have no reason to write or draw.
I have projects in mind begging to be real
But I turn my back on them
I promise I will get to them
But their day never comes
I can write about being married
But my life doesn't feel changed
I can write about my new adventure
But I have nothing to say... just do
I can write about the new friends I've made
About the fun I've had after returning
But I prefer to keep them in my mind.. in safety
Such memories feel too precious to expel on paper
I feel sad as I write whatever this is
Listening to sad music
Amplifying my emotions
I'm unsure of myself I guess
New territory lay in front of me
And I don't know how to take it
Except one step at a time.
I expel one word after another in this post
Not a thought entering my head except what I'm typing
I can't think of what else to write
I guess that means I'm done for now
Sweet dreams

This will play a key roll in my art final. Ranging from realistic to simplistic.
The simple version will be used in my final as a comic. Not too sure of the details, but I will post it on the blog when I'm done.

We had our model in today. This time, we did five drawings; four charcoal and one graphite. Here's the kicker. Most of them had to be exaggerated.

Thursday, May 26, 2016

Had a model in the class today. Not only a lovely lady, but a spunky sense of humor and really knows how to turn those lemons into lemonade.

A long process over the course of two days. Not the happiest with it, but I'm proud of the hard work put into it.

Thursday, May 12, 2016

Scratched this up today. Pretty proud. I was told that this is only practice and a bigger one will be assigned next week. AWESOME!!

An entire week of depression This was one of the hardest weeks I've experienced so far. And when I Feel terrible, my projects turn out that way. But it was well-liked by the teacher.

Tuesday, April 12, 2016

My first piece from my drawing class.

1. Starting with a head

2. The body of Garfield painted from ink.

3. The teacher said our limits were gone and to make it amazing.

Tuesday, March 8, 2016

The whole class is collaborating together to make one big final project. I believe it's a paper forest. Out only material is paper and some sort of adhesive. Some of us did trees and some of us did plants.
My contribution is a single rose. It's lovely if I do say so myself.

No new info on my nude sculpture, for it is still drying, so pics will come later.

Monday, February 29, 2016

I sculpted a nude model from clay today. It was quite interesting.

Monday, February 8, 2016

I have never ever done this before. Hammer, chisel, sandpaper, and stone was an intimidating thing for me to try. I have very proud of the results.

Phase one: Pick your stone.

Phase two: Hammer, chisel, and sand that mother!!

Phase three: Dust it.

Phase four: Apply baby oil. My final product

It's beautiful, yes?

Wednesday, February 3, 2016

Finally finished with my third project. I had a moment when my original plan wasn't working, and I had to do something else. I am very happy with the results.
What do you think?

Monday, February 1, 2016

More progress on my masks and my latest hand sculpture. More pics to come since I'm still not quite finished yet.

Wednesday, January 27, 2016

This was the new project. Don't stop at this post, there's two more below. I covered my hand and part of my forearm in crisco (blech) then put it in Dermagel. It was a long process. After the mold was completed, it was filled to make the result below. I don't remember what the stuff was called, but I was so excited. I regretted the position for my hand though; it hurt.

After this long process, this was the end result so far. More work to come. I didn't get two fingertips, but it'll work to my advantage I think considering the sculpture that I'm after. Not bad for my first try.
